Komuniq has been in the underground Reggae scene for more than a decade now, writing and recording music for many artists in the game before this scheduled debut release. The first singles released for the album were produced by seasoned producer Trumel.
On “Usalire”, Komuniq offers hope singing, “Chilichose chili ndi nthawi ndi Malo. Usalire mai Malawi,… ndi dalo. Kuti ugonjetse umphawi, Thukuta lako lidzagonjetsa njala”. Backed by fierce production from Trumel, the song takes on its own life inspiring the listener as Komuniq weaves his vocals effortlessly through strong riffs and a rocking bass.
“Mpando Wachifumu” sees Komuniq in rare form again this time with a message more in line to his Bobo Shante grounding in Chileka. “Ndilakalaka mbuye m’tundandi tsuka, machimo anga bwenzi atapunguka… Ndi ndani yemwe akufuna moyo? Ayenera kusenza mtanda wake, kuyang’ana ku mpando wachifumu wake!”
