Cliff kaunda who was widely known by the stage name BuBu lazy has been laid to rest yesterday, April 25th after a long battle with cancer.
He died on Thursday, 18th April and his burial took place on Thursday, 25th April at Oakridge cemetery, Bristol, USA.
BuBu was well known by the 1990s hit, “Bola kuthazi”, a song which was dedicated to Malawi National Football Team.
Bubu was also a producer and a lead singer for the band “Boys Lazzy.”
He was known to be a creative person and according to his friends, he was funny and loved to tell stories.
Reports indicate that he was born in Mzuzu in 1970 from Immanuel Kaunda and Diana (Nkosi) Kaunda.
His mother, Diana preceded him in death.
Surviving is his father, stepmother Elizabeth Kaunda and seven siblings.
