Over and over, the Lilongwe based crew K2B Block has been entertaining us with different social issues that dwells in our community each and every day.
Throughout the years we have witnessed these boys airing out real life issues – One could simply pick examples of Chimidzi Swag, Malonda, Anzawo Amasteni, the list is endless. And to say less, the Kawale boys have resurfaced again as they address another issue involving corporate companies in their new track dubbed “48 Hours”.

You probably might have tried to buy Escom units or make any other payment on your mobile phone and things go sideways and while after calling the customer care line, you’re told to wait for 48 hours as they sort your issue, haven’t you?
It’s a frustrating moment indeed as even after you wait for that so called 48 hours, sometimes your problem could still be on hang.
At the beginning of this song, an irked customer is heard complaining to a mobile service agent that he had made a transaction of K2000 towards Escom units but did not receive the token.
But after exchanging a few words, the agent is heard telling the customer that they do not refund the money once paid and he therefore need to wait for 48 Hours for his request to come to pass.
“Sitimabweza ndalama. Mudikira mawa 48 hours imeneyo,” goes part of the agent’s response.
As the song ends at the outro, the two ended up going against each other in a heated argument.
Meanwhile, a quiet number of issues concerning the concept of the song have been expressed in verses of the track hence you just have to listen to it on your own.
