After conquering the local airwaves with his hit singles ‘Chidodo’, ‘Wina Watenga’ and ‘It’s Not Fair’, up-and-coming dancehall singer Nesnes has a new love song titled ‘Iwe ndi Ine’, produced by Dj Sley.
While Nesnes continues to explore the theme of love in this new track, ‘Iwe ndi Ine’ has a slightly different feel from the rest of his songs, as both the beat and lyrics are mellow.
“It’s a song which is different from the songs that people know me for because it’s a new style and it’s an interesting story. Most people have been saying am always complaining in my songs so in this track I wanted to give my fans another side of me not of a guy who has been hurt by a girl like it is in ‘Wina Watenga’ and ‘It’s Not Fair’,” says 26-year-old Nesnes, born Kelvin
Khuzumba.
He adds: “I have always wanted to do a song for Malawian ladies, tell them how special they are and this goes out to them, it’s my special present to the ladies during this Valentine’s period”.
‘Iwe ndi Ine’ is Nesnes’ first release in the year 2014 and is taken from his forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album, expected to be out during this first quarter of the year. The song has been produced, recorded and mixed by DJ Sley in the capital city, Lilongwe.
The artist’s manager at Prime Time Media, Edward Kankhomba, who is the stable’s CEO, discloses that the album is almost through. He touts the singer as “a rare breed” who will surprise many with his debut album, being produced by several producers in Blantyre and Lilongwe. – Courtesy of Pencils PR
