Rapper KYC Nyimbo has released the much awaited ‘Issues EP’ which according to him is a brief narration of his past love life.
An Extended Play (EP) is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP.
Kyc Nyimbo’s EP contains five songs and the songs in the EP talks of the relationship challenges that the artist has had in the past three years.
By listening to the message fusion in the songs, one will appreciate the hidden talent that the artist has when it comes to composing music.
Speaking in an interview with faceofmalawi reporter, the ‘ Machesi’ star said in 2018 it’s when he decided to come up with an EP.
“I have been dropping singles until last year when i decided to have a full project to my name. I would have been happy if it was an album but am always tied up with other things so i just decided to try out an EP.
“Initially the project was supposed to have 7 songs including Machesi remix and another one called ‘Remember Me’ but i decided not to include those because they had other concepts contrary to stories that are centered in issues EP,” he said.
KYC Nyimbo surfaced in 2014 when he released his hit single ‘Moni Ma Ex’ featuring Janta – a song that enjoyed massive radio play.
Most of the songs released by the him are based on real life happenings which affect mostly the youths.
The production of the whole EP has been done by three producers namely, Malde Beats, Taff Beats, and W Twice.
