Blantyre-based vernacular rapper ‘Achina Gattah Ase’ has finally broken his silence, responding to Ace Jizzy’s alleged diss with a hard-hitting track titled Mpando.
Gattah alias King Wa Street, has released the song today on 11 February 2025 which has bars targeting Lilongwe rappers Ace Jizzy and his ally Beejay.
The track comes three weeks after Jizzy dropped Dodi Dodi, a song that sparked the whole beef after substituting Gattah from his so-called “First Eleven” squad of top Malawian artists, implying that Ghatta was not delivering in the game he was just missing goals.
In Mpando, Gattah, fires shots at Jizzy and Beejay with controversial lyrics:
“Timudhisse Gattah Angokochana,
Ka Jizzy Kataika Seda Ngati Ngochana (Gay),
Magaye-wa Si Duo Akusokana,
Kumapasana BJ (Blowjob).”raps Gattah
The song has set social media ablaze, with fans quoting Ghatta’s bars, accusing Jizzy and Beejay of being a couple rather than a rap duo. Malawi’s hip-hop fraternity is buzzing as listeners debate whether Mpando is a solid response or just another chapter in the ongoing rap feud.
With tensions running high, Ace Jizyy as just made a Facebook post asking Achina Gattah Ase if the song is pleasing himself.
