Wendy Harawa has launched her first gospel album Mundisunge ndinu at Bingu International Conference Center (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Her launch comes barely two weeks after Wendy won an award for the track ‘Chisomo’ in Kenya during the grand finale of the Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards.
Signed by Major 1 Records of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, Wendy’s album has 10 songs recorded at Major 1 Records and Ralph Records but mixed and mastered at New Movement in South Africa.
Looking back to the albums she has produced, Wendy rated them highly.
“But this album is different because it is coming from new Wendy,” she said.
Wendy expressed her profound gratitude towards the support her fans rendered during the launch through a Facebook post by thanking her fans and blessed them.
“About my Album launch, thank you everyone who came and supported me without you it wasn’t going to be the success it was. Am overwhelmed. I feel honored by you my Malawi. May God’s name be glorified and may God bless you all.” Writes Wendy on her Facebook page.
Wendy has dropped some of the songs in the album on market. Some of the songs in the album include ‘Mbusa Wanga’, ‘Hosanna’ and ‘Awesome God’.
Jimmy D Psalmist, Onesimus, Patience Namadingo and Great Angels spiced up the album launch.
