Singer Patience Namadingo has become the second Malawian artist to hit 1 millions views on YouTube just in five months after Great Angels who also hit 1 million views.
Namadingo who is having a great year is becoming popular each and everyday not only with music but also some charity works.
This is a welcomed development as it is unlikely in Malawi for a music video to hit a million views on YouTube. Others blame it on the high cost of internet.
Recently, we have seen stakeholders demanding government to push telecommunication companies to reduce their charges. In case that is considered, things like this will not be news anymore.
Most youths in Malawi are unemployed but if data charges goes cheap some youths might also venture into online business hence creating job opportunities.
