Gospel artist Wendy Harawa is set to represent the country through her performance at the “One Africa” music festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates taking place from 22 to 28 November.
According to Harawa, she is ready to use the opportunity to network with artists and promoters around the world.
“I feel excited for being the first Malawian to represent the country at the festival. It is a big opportunity as I have the chance to network with artists and promoters from around the world,” she said.
The event, dubbed Soul Praise Fest, will take place alongside a business summit, a global comedy fest and a pre-party on a yacht and Harawa is scheduled to perform on the fourth day.
Harawa will appear alongside other big African artists such as Flavour, Tiwa Savage and Harmonize.
