Amapiano landlord, Avokado is set to drop his second tune in 2022 entitled ‘Yehovah’ which he has collaborated with gospel legend Thocco Katimba, well-known as ‘Anaphi’ on 1st June.
According to Avokado, ‘Yehovah’ is another amapiano-gospel song, a thanksgiving song to Almighty God for everything he has done for them.
On collaborating with Katimba, Avokado said “ Thocco Katimba is my mother’s favorite artist and I am his fan too!, being an artist I have grown up listening to in the gospel circles, I felt like I should honour my mum & fulfil my dream of collaborating with the Malawi’s gospel cream.”
Avokado has assured his fans and amapiano lovers that he will not let them with ‘Yehovah’ as it is one of the songs that will shake Malawi music industry this year and onwards.
In his remarks, Thocco Katimba said he agreed to work with Avokado because there is something unique about him.
“I just love the joy of seeing him praising God Almighty in this song “YEHOVAH,” he said.
2022 seems promising in Malawi music industry with so many hit sings since January and Malawians are expecting this development to continue as Katimba said ‘2022 is all about good music’.
