Reggae/Dancehall musician Jungle Jex and the Undisainire hitmaker, Prosper Chisale have teamed up to form a new label called “Misuli Entertainment”
In an interview with Prosper Chisale, the singer said the Misuli name is a metaphor that signifies a person who does things competently.
“The idea of a duo started way back. It was initially a platform for promoting music industry in Malawi. However, things didn’t work out as planned due to insufficient funding. In 2021, we decided to sit down and form a music crew using the same name,” Prosper said.
He said they plan to help awaken unknown talents under their newly formed label.
“We are planning to awaken forgotten talents. We want to feature them in most of our projects. We have not forgotten our dreams as Misuli Entertainment label,” he said.
Just a week ago, the two released a first song under the Misuli brand. The song is titled Zimasintha and has been produced by Young Sam.
“Our first track tackles issues to do with life. The person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world.
“You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more in the world than you think. Perhaps it is really a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you will find many unexpected things. So expect less, do more,” he said.
