Samuel Tengani AKA Texam is one of the promising young artists from Lilongwe. He started his music career in 2013 while he was still in secondary school. Then he joined ‘Demzest music Group‘ also known as DMZ in the same year. DMZ is popular with songs like (Beer I love you, Drunken Master & Majelasi).
On his solo projects Texam released a 11track album titled “Day In The Night” last year and this year he is currently working on a new mixtape titled “Ankolo Tekky Sali Choncho” (ATSC) . He has so far released few tracks from the mixtape like the hip hop hit track “Zida Zoopsya” in which he features Martse & Mwanache.
The song was released a couple of weeks ago and now has 14 thousand plus downloads, and it is currently 4th on the Malawi-Music Weekly Top 100 Chart. It is also enjoying great airplay on different local radio stations.
In Texam’s upcoming mixtape he features the likes of Martse, Mwanache, Rexie Kady, Ka sir blanka, Lil Vince and more. The mixtape will be dropping pretty soon…
