If you follow gospel music from Malawi, you might several times have come across Kafita Redemtion Band’s songs. The group started in 1997, produced their first album at studio 88 in 2013 titled ndakhulupira and they have a new ten track album produced at studio 88 by Khumbo Kaliwo titled Nkhope ndi Yamwayi released on 13 August 2018.
Ndikudikira is an inspiration by the word of God from ◄ Isaiah 40:31 ►, but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Nkhope ndi yamwayi song debates on understanding the truth that God has appointed times for each event in our lives, But conveying God’s timing down to an individual’s level.
Kafita Redemption Band has two albums, the first released in 2013 titled “ndakhulupira” and the second released on 12 August 2018 titled “Nkhope Yamwayi”. Gospel music lovers should expect something new and unique from Kafita Redemption Band, a different touch and no copy-cut for Redemption band has been around but not active with live performances except singing at church as it was part of their strategy to get prepared in terms of composition, arrangement and to lead a new touch on the gospel market. They are currently working on a DVD which is scheduled for launch in December and so far they’ve just released a CD and looking forward for live performances on some songs off the CD.
