Marco Sadik has finally breaks his silence with the new Extended Play (EP) titled “Ndabwerako” after a six-year hiatus.
The Linda hit-maker who is now based in Kenya recently put out two promotional tracks, “Usalire” and “Ndi Iwe” in readiness of the EP that came out last Friday, 8th January, 2021.
The Ndabwerako EP boosts of seven songs and is selling at K1000 in the Malawi Music Store HERE.
Speaking in an interview, the singer said he opted for an EP over an Album because the latter would have been more challenging with the currently Covid-19 situation.
“An album has a lot of demands and with the current situation where we have Covid-19 it’s a challenge. This is why I decided to work on an EP where you have less headache otherwise once everything gets to normal I will look into having my third album,” Sadik said.
Responding on why he has been so quiet, Marco said, “I’ve been busy with work really, and also just focusing on my family. But Covid-19 has affected businesses worldwide and I decided to use some of my free time to work on my new songs. It’s been long and it’s about time I came back. Ndabwerako,” he said.
Some of the tracks that make up the EP include ‘I’ts Your Life Master’, ‘Linga Langa’, ‘Ndi Iwe’, ‘That’s All What Matters’ and ‘Undikonde Lero’.
Sadik rose to fame in 2007 after releasing Linda from his debut album Umodzi. His other album is Zanga which was released in 2011
